Challenging levels
When in Cardboard Box, it is easy to get three stars! However, it gets increasingly and maddeningly more difficult as you progress. Most of the time one will get “passable” or even “good” (1 star). Cut the Rope really gives you a good, hard challenge. It may feel impossible to get all three stars at times, but it is possible, don’t give up!

Om Nom the frog is back for more candies in Cut the Rope 2, along with the help of his counterparts, the Nommies. There are five of them, and each of them has a special power to help Om Nom reach the goal of eating the candies! For example, Blue is able to multiply himself and stack on top of himself in order to bring Om Nom higher to get the candy. It’s a truly adorable game, with Om Nom donning adorable hats each level and his expressions more animated and carefree. Who wouldn’t want to help a frog this cute?!
Cut the Rope: Time Travel
In Cut the Rope Time Travel, Om Nom has an identical frog monster friend. So, you’ve got two mouths to feed. Deliver the candies to the two frog monsters! There are several exciting features like bombs and such to make the levels more challenging (as if it weren’t already!), and fun gameplay time travel elements like Middle Ages, Stone Age, Ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt etc! It’s fun to see Om Nom’s ancestors! Let’s jump back into time.
Tips, tricks, and cheats
Hints: You are given a set of hints before each level. Use them only if you’re at your wits’ end! They are quite hard to come by so don’t spend them all on say, in one Box level. The levels get progressively harder, so try to save them for when you’re truly lost with no idea what to do.
Don’t be afraid to try, try and try again! There are timed bonuses, but it’s okay to fail over and over again just because you were figuring out what to do on any given level. It’s ok to test out the balloons and spikes, or to burst the bubbles wrongly… just as long as you complete the stage with one to three stars, and you’re all good.
Make use of Om Nom’s transformations. There are five different frog monster transformations that Om Nom can do within the game. For example, Baby Om Nom is able to fit into small holes and be light enough to float in bubbles! To activate the shapeshifting abilities of Om Nom, you need to click the button on the left corner of the screen!
